But most of all, your work will be to help us create the best company there is in foam 3D printing.

Your Role

As a Process Engineer at FoamPrint3D, you will play a key role in advancing our foam 3D printing technology, ensuring high performance, repeatability, and scalability. You will be responsible for designing, manufacturing (in-house and with partners), and optimizing the equipment for our processes. You will work closely with our materials engineers to enable optimal materials selection and the next generation of 3D-printed foams.

What You Will Do

Process development & scale-up

Develop and refine our foam 3D printing process, optimizing parameters for materials processing and precision

Collaborate closely with our materials engineers on the processing of formulations

Guide the development and implementation of state-of-the-art printers for scale-up and specific applications

You pro-actively

Build effective relationships with suppliers, partners and customers

Maintain organized work and ensure clear communication and documentation

Contribute on a range of interdisciplinary topics

Help grow the company to its next phase. You will be part of a ground-breaking start-up

What We Are Looking For

BSc or MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field

Two to five years of relevant industrial working experience post-graduation

Expertise in technology development, based on a strong understanding of fundamentals

Passion for building things, innovation, problem-solving, and working in a fast-paced startup environment

Experience in the following areas will be an asset:

Proficient in design software such as Rhinoceros and SolidWorks and programming languages, including Python

Capable of developing both hardware and software tools for 3D printing applications

Experienced in additive manufacturing, or polymer processing

Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, rheology, and process optimization
