You will join the QC Microbiology team within a GMP manufacturing environment, acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting routine microbiological testing, method transfer, and validation activities.In this role, you will combine hands-on QC work with ownership of deviations, CAPAs, and investigations, while supporting and mentoring other QC team members and ensuring inspection readiness.Key Responsibilities• Act as SME for microbiological method transfer, verification, and validation• Perform and review routine microbiological testing (in-process, final product, stability)• Review testing data packages, including CoAs and lot documentation• Independently troubleshoot complex microbiological issues• Own deviations, investigations, CAPAs, and improvement initiatives• Author and review technical documents (SOPs, test methods, specifications, trend reports)• Train and mentor QC colleagues• Support audits and represent QC Microbiology during inspectionsEssential Requirements• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field (or equivalent experience)• Dutch Bachelor's degree (HLO) or equivalent• 6+ years' experience in QC Microbiology within a GMP environment• Hands-on experience with microbiological techniques• Strong GMP documentation and technical writing skillsPreferred Requirements• Advanced degree (MSc or PhD)• Experience with method transfer and validation• Familiarity with LIMS/ELN systems• Experience mentoring junior staffPracticalities• Contract: Fixed-term, 12-months (extension highly likely)• Location: Full-time on-site• Start Date: As soon as possibleInterested?Interviews can move quickly.Contact me at k.vongeusau@panda-int.com.
