With a very dynamic environment and high speed processes, it is right to say that they are continuously developing and growing.The teams generally consists of 5 to 20 Fte's e.g. Purchasing, Manufacturing, Coordination, Inventory Management, Demand Planning, Warehousing, Logistics, and Customer Service. You report to the Supply Chain Manager or in some cases directly to the Supply Chain director.Job DescriptionDuring this Supply Chain traineeship, you (starter) will:Develop shipping strategiesFocus on on-time delivery and support of the various entities/storesNotice opportunities for improvement in existing supply chain processesCollaborate with their various teams and external logistics stakeholdersBe the right hand of the Shipping Manager/director and work closely with the buyersForecasting in collaboration with Category/Product ManagersEnsuring a thorough purchasing planOrder management and inventory controlCoordination with inbound and warehousingKeeping Master data up-to-date: creation, changes to SKU's and supplier informationThe Successful ApplicantBachelor - or Master's degree in Supply Chain and LogisticsKnowledge of the E-commerce, Retail or FMCG sectorNo experience is required, though the salary depends on experience/internshipsAnalytical, driven, communicative and flexible32 - 40 hours per weekFluent Dutch and EnglishAvailable on short noticeWhat's on OfferBesides The Fact That You Usually Operate From The HQ Of Our xbpjoel Clients, You Shall Also Work In a Driven Team With Enthusiastic Colleagues In The Amsterdam Region.
