In a multi-disciplinary team, you take ownership of the design from concept to series production. You translate customer needs into clear technical specifications, guide implementation, and maintain alignment across to deliver robust, future-proof solutions.Key Responsibilities Translate customer, regulatory and internal requirements into system-level requirements and design inputDevelop robust system architectures that meet all product, regulatory, and performance requirementsDefine and drive the system validation strategy, both by design and testingDrive cross-functional alignment between system, hardware, software and mechanical engineering teamsEnsure documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned across engineering disciplinesLead system-level risk management activities, including DFMEA developmentOwn the system-level test plan and specifications; contribute to and review validation executionProfile:Embedded/digital technology - BSc, BEng, or MSc in Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or Physics in embedded computing or a related fieldDeep understanding of high-end electronics systems, interface technologies, signal integrity, and PCB designFamiliar with industry standards and safety/compliance requirements and relevant certification processesPreferred experience/knowledge of embedded software and firmware developmentStrong analytical skills and critical thinkingYou excel at teaming up within multidisciplinary teamsYou turn ownership into impactYou are wired for progress and innovationEnglish mandatory, Dutch preferred
