Petrobras Global Trading B.V. ('PGT') is part of Petrobras Group, one of the largest producers of oil and gas in the world, primarily engaged in exploration and production, refining, energy generation and trading, with over 49,000 employees.

PGT act as Petrobras' main entity in its external trading activities, exporting and importing crude oil & products, also offering to its customers worldwide, trading support services. PGT is responsible for more than 60% of Petrobras’ trading operations in the external market.

Summary:

This role will operate daily basis the movements of crude oil & products, receipts and deliveries, for PGT. The role involves proactive management of operations to maximize results based on contracts and guidelines. The Operator is responsible for executing operations as planned and may be required to work outside regular hours.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing crude oil and product movements for the PGT Trading Department.
• Coordinating with terminal operators for loading and discharging activities.
• Maintaining detailed records and spreadsheets of trades and contracts.
• Monitoring inventory and trade movements to ensure compliance with contract specifications.
• Communicating with customers and suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensuring timely nominations and confirmations.
• Acting as a liaison between trading and back office teams.
• Reviewing and approving associated costs and working with the legal team on contracts.
• Supporting back office in pricing confirmation and inputting deal information into the CTRM system.
• Upholding safety and ethical standards while representing the company.
• Providing operational data and assisting management with performance calculations.
• Reporting abnormalities and optimizing operational efficiency.
• Liaising with finance on letters of credit to mitigate delays and risks.
• Appointing Cargo Supervisors and Inspectors as needed.

Requirements and skills:

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Chemicals, Mathematics, Statistics, Accounting or related field.
• Proven relevant experience (minimum 5 years) in oil operations specifically in crude oil & products;
• Knowledge of Bloomberg and Reuters systems is a plus;
• Experience with Commodity Trade and Risk Management Systems (CTRM) is a plus;
• Fluency in English, written and spoken;
