This hands-on role blends assurance reviews, incident handling, and change risk advisory—helping drive secure operations across the business. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external vendors to ensure compliance, strengthen protection and support secure transformation across global regions.This role primarily focused on the day-to-day investigation of incidents and alerts, working in close coordination with regional colleagues, our outsourced SOC partner, and operations team.What You’ll DoDrive Security Assurance & Risk RemediationLead recurring assessments to test and improve the effectiveness of regional and global security controls.Identify and rank risks, develop remediation plans with owners, and monitor follow-through.Deliver clear, actionable reports to stakeholders—backed by metrics and KPIs.Partner with teams to embed policies, standards, and security best practices.Reassess and confirm issues have been resolved, ensuring long-term compliance.Own Alerting & Incident ResponseTake charge of security alerts and incidents—coordinating with the SOC and internal teams for quick containment and recovery.Maintain and evolve response plans, playbooks, and processes.Lead incident investigations, determine root causes, and apply fixes.Manage incident communications and align stakeholders to drive fast, effective resolution.Conduct reviews post-incident to spot improvement areas and boost readiness.Guide Secure Change ManagementAssess security risks linked to technology changes, offering guidance and mitigation strategies.Ensure changes follow formal review, testing, and approval processes.Run post-change evaluations to confirm no negative security impacts and suggest refinements if needed.What You Bring5+ years in security assurance, incident handling, and supporting secure change.Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a similar field.Bonus points for certifications like CISSP, CISM, or related credentials.Key SkillsStrong understanding of assurance frameworks, risk, and compliance standards.Solid grounding in change governance and ITIL-based processes.Proven ability to lead incident response and dig deep into root causes.Clear communicator—comfortable explaining security issues to all levels.Calm under pressure and able to juggle multiple security events.Analytical mindset with sharp attention to detail.
