Join Alfen as an Eplan Engineer Contribute to the development of smart energy solutions that strengthen tomorrow's power grid. Apply your electrical engineering expertise in an innovative R&D environment and actively support the energy transition. What will you do? As an Eplan Engineer at Alfen, you'll work in a multidisciplinary R&D team to develop and optimize electrical systems that drive the energy transition. You translate electrical concepts into concrete, detailed designs that are technically sound, safe, and compliant with current standards. You'll collaborate closely with colleagues in mechanical design, software development, and production to create integrated solutions. You'll also maintain and further develop existing products using tools such as EPLAN P8 and Pro Panel. Your Key Responsibilities Drafting functional specifications and translating them into component selections Designing electrical schematics in EPLAN P8 and panel layouts in Pro Panel Maintaining and improving existing products, including implementing component changes Contributing to the standardization of electrical designs across our product portfolio Applying relevant standards, guidelines, and safety requirements (e.g., NEN, IEC) Supporting prototyping and initial production series What do we expect from you? You're Curious, Pragmatic, And Able To Switch Smoothly Between Disciplines. You Enjoy Working In a Team But Can Also Take Independent Responsibility For Your Designs. You Bring A completed bachelor's degree (HBO) in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years work experience Experience in a (R&D) design or engineering role or within a technical project environment Knowledge of EPLAN P8; experience with Pro Panel is a plus Good command of English, both written and spoken What do we offer?
