As aManufacturing Engineer Outfitting at Damen Naval, you maximizeefficiency and effectiveness by analyzing equipment layout,workflow and assembly methods for the construction portion of siteproduction. You determine what parts and tooling are needed toachieve production goals according to product specification. Plans,designs, sets, modifies, optimizes and monitors productionprocesses. As a Manufacturing Engineer Outfitting, you will beresponsible for:

• Providing detailedwork instructions for productionemployees.
• Keeping track of Material Take-Off(MTO).
• Preparing productiondrawings.
• Providing engineering informationpackage and tooling instructions.
• Preparingspecifications for subcontracting.
• Managing rawmaterial orders.
• Indicating quality controlsaccording to the testing and inspectionplan.
• Controlling the workflow of thestructural manufacturing process.
• Workingwithin established limits for time, budget andquality.
• Clearly communicating within theorganization.
• Identifying deficiencies andsuggesting improvements tomanagement.

• Aprofessional education (MBO 4) in Mechanical Engineering with atleast 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• Acomplete understanding of all productionphases.
• Experience with production, engineeringand/or design software such as SAP, 3DX, Teamcenter and Cadmatic /Inventor.
• Good command of English and Dutchlanguage (both written andoral).
