You'll be consistent, reliable and excited to be part of leading a first-class team and growing the business. Having previous experience in a similar management role, you will understand how to deliver quality service, working at pace, with a positive and engaging personality.As Assistant Bars Manager of Soho House Amsterdam, you are an ambassador for the brand with a detailed knowledge of the Soho House Group and its concept including all menus and beverage offerings. Demonstrating a professional approach towards our managers, employees and guests, you are responsible for the daytoday management of all bars and related beverage programs, ensuring a great member and guest experience.As part of our Soho House team your role is to make sure that our members have an amazing experience every time. Possessing natural hospitality charm, we will give you a platform to connect, grow, have fun and make an impact.Main Duties...Manage the day to day operation and events of the Club & Cecconi's (incl Cinema, Blue Room, Rooftop) according to company standards.Together with the Head of bars you will be in charge of a team of approximately 30 people. Working hands on with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.Recruit, nurture and develop the Bar team and ensure staff retention.Create genuine connections with the members to deliver the home away from home experience.Support the Head of Bars in managing all aspects of revenue, revenue opportunity and costs to ensure profitability and achieving business targets.Support the Head of Bars in driving the business through creative initiatives and solutions.Ensure compliance with company, HACCP and other legislative regulations.Act as an extension of the management team and maintain the following programs: homemade syrups, natural juices, batches, barrel-aged cocktails, custom coffee, hot drinks, and any specialty cocktails.To represent the spirit and standards of Soho House and the philosophy of the House Tonic program, influencing sales to generate revenue.Support and participate in educational opportunities regarding products and skills, and in the development of the beverage training program for all employees.What We Are Looking For...At least 2 to 3 years of experience in bars as a proven leader with exceptional skills to influence others behind the bar.Extensive food and beverage (F&B) knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and cocktails to inform customers and wait staffFamiliarity with restaurant management software, like MicrosStrong attention to detailsStrong communication and people skills, while also being aware of financial results and revenue generationExcellent customer serviceFluent in English, any additional language is a plus Organized and reliableAbility to work and maximize relationships within a diverse teamBenefitsSoho House offers competitive compensation packages that feature global benefits and perks.
