The new Credit Risk Officer will be responsible for:
- Managing independently a corporate customer portfolio from different sectors with different levels of risk and complexity.
- Analyzing of company risks and the economic circumstances of borrowers (including business model, market environment and competition, annual financial statements, cash flow analysis as well as the creation of future-oriented sensitivity calculations) as well as decision-making considering the individual risk content and the transaction structure
- Developing together with the front officer or in the deal team possible credit structures and/or risk mitigation concepts and regularly take part in customer visits.
- Reviewing complex contract documentation and ensuring the implementation of decisions, especially with regard to requirements, is another part of your area of responsibility.I
- n addition to your primary risk responsibility, you also have responsibility for the earnings/profitability of your credit customers. You will be guided by the credit risk strategy and the bank's business policy priorities.
Who are we looking for?
- Completed commercial training, preferably supplemented by a banking qualification or a technical/university degree.
- Sound experience in credit decision-making practice and analysis of (complex) corporate customers or proof of adequate qualifications.
- Basic knowledge of internal regulations and systems, guidelines for the efficient application of processes in the corporate lending business.
- Methodically structured and conceptual way of working, decision-making skills, resilience, sense of responsibility and ability to work in a team.
- Very good communication skills in Dutch and English.
