Agile Coach

ASML is a Dutch high-tech company and one of the main suppliers of machines for the semiconductor industry, in particular steppers and scanners, which are used in chip making. Customers are larger chip manufacturers. ASML's head office and business complex is in Veldhoven, where research and development as well as assembly in cleanrooms are expected. The company also has sixty service points in fourteen countries to support the installation and delivery of machines and spare parts.

ASML was created from a joint venture between ASM International and Royal Philips. ASML delivers worldwide, but most of its customers are located in Asia. In 2011, 66% of sales in the region were notable, 25% in the United States and just under 9% in Europe. The largest customer was responsible for a quarter of the total turnover. ASML's main supplier is Zeiss, a manufacturer of lenses and optical components. Zeiss's share in ASML's total purchasing costs is just under 30%. Due to the large parallel interests, both companies have entered into a strategic alliance; This can only be broken if one of the parties gives notice of termination three years in advance. We are looking for an experienced Agile Coach who will be coaching teams and Agile Release Trains (ARTs) in the IT Research & Development (R&D) domain. Our people are proud to be supporting our internal and external customers with state-of-the-art solutions. Teams are a mixture of young talent and senior specialist with a strong focus on delivering business value for our stakeholder. The teams and ARTs in the IT R&D domain are closely collaborating with teams in ASML’s Development & Engineering (D&E) sector.

As an Agile Coach you have a pivotal role in our Agile journey. As we are maturing and scaling our Agile way of working, we encounter challenges. You will ensure that our teams understand and follow the guiderails and ASML frameworks related to our Agile way of working. By facilitating workshops on related topics and individual- and group coaching you will be closely involved in further embedding Agile practices and mindset in our organization.

You will:

• Create an environment for teams and individuals to be able to continuously improve the Agile way of working
• Help teams to deliver more value and increase customer satisfaction
• Have a strong focus on continuous improvement within your Agile Release Train
• Stimulate true end-to-end responsibility
• Facilitate workshops and interventions
• Build a culture of trust and self-organization
