For our client in Heerlen we are looking for a part-time employee in the position of crossdock employee. The client is originally a Dutch transport company and has since expanded to 15 European countries. The branch in Heerlen was recently opened, with 11 docks and almost 4,000 m2 of capacity, they are able to quickly load and unload goods.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?As a cross-dock employee, you are responsible for loading and unloading the trucks. You sort and distribute the goods to ensure that everything runs smoothly and efficiently. Having a good understanding of logistical processes and dealing adequately with time and resources are of great importance for the correct execution of the tasks.
Loading and unloading is mainly done with the help of an EPT. Experience with driving this truck is therefore a requirement. However, do you not yet have a valid certificate? Then you can obtain one free of charge through our academy
REQUIREMENTS· You have experience with an EPT and have a valid certificate or are willing to obtain one via LF Opleidingen. Experience with a forklift/reach truck is a plus;
· Good command of the English language;
· You are available from Monday - Friday between 04:00 - 08:00 and between 17:00 - 21:00.
