  • Seamless Chartering: You’ll champion chartering involvement throughout the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning to final closeout.
  • Reliable Partners: Pre-qualify shipowners, agents, and brokers to ensure you’re working with the best in the business.
  • Optimized Transportation: Maintain control and identify synergy opportunities across the business unit and the corporate chartering category.
  • Legal Compliance: Guarantee relevant legal frameworks, like the Jones Act, are properly integrated into all transactions.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Explore, develop, and manage frame agreements and long-term charters with key business partners.
  • Collaborative Expert: Proactively work with internal stakeholders to understand the needs and advise them on crucial market developments. You’ll also collaborate with the Subsea7 Group Chartering category to leverage their strategies and expertise. As the chartering expert within the SCM Discipline, your insights will be highly valued by other specialists.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in technical, commercial, or legal field.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and spoken English with strong negotiation abilities.
  • Project Management: Prior experience in construction or maritime projects is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in modern software tools, with SAP and Ariba experience being a benefit.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership skills to motivate and guide your team.
  • Business Acumen: Focus on achieving business goals.
