As a Public Relations specialist at Destinus, you will be instrumental in shaping and maintaining our public image. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective PR strategies to enhance the company's visibility and reputation. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a passion for building solid relationships with the media and the public.

• Develop and execute comprehensive public relations strategies to build and maintain a favorable public image for the company.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers to secure print, broadcast, and digital media coverage.
• Write compelling press releases, media kits, and other materials to effectively communicate key messages to the media and public.
• Coordinate and manage interviews to maximize coverage and exposure.
• Monitor media and industry trends to identify opportunities and potential risks.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between PR efforts and overall company goals.
• Act as a spokesperson for the company, responding to media inquiries and projecting a positive image to the public.
• Manage crisis communications and develop strategies to address negative publicity promptly and effectively.

• Fluency in both Dutch and English (native in one)
• Proven experience as a public relations specialist or similar role
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with media professionals.
• Experience with strategic PR planning.
• Familiarity with social media and digital marketing tools and trends.
• Creative thinker with the ability to create extraordinary PR campaigns.
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.
