Responsibilities:

As a ground worker, you will be working as excavator or student excavator for a nationwide organization engaged in various projects, with the three Dutch northern provinces as primary areas of operation. As an excavator or student excavator you play an important role in infrastructure projects. You are responsible for the construction of the underground infrastructure, the preparation for the crane and all other activities that are part of your job as an excavator. Of course, you do not do this alone but with an enthusiastic and close team With your knowledge and skills, you ensure that the projects have a solid start and run smoothly.


Tasks:

  • Assisting the crane operator.
  • Excavating trenches.
  • Installing and removing pipes and cables.
  • Establishing house connections.
  • Installing sheet piling.
  • Placing road closures.
Requisitos
  • Demonstrated experience as a ground worker or eager to learn this trade
  • An eye for detail and accuracy when performing work.
  • You are a true team player
  • Physical strength and endurance.
  • Willingness to work in varying weather conditions.
  • Safety always comes first for you.
  • In possession of a VCA certificate or willing to obtain one.
  • B1/B2 English language level
