Functieomschrijving

As an Assistent cateringmanager 1 at our client Meta in Amsterdam, you are the face of the corporate restaurant. Guests know who you are and feel at ease. You ensure that the dishes are ready on time and presented attractively.
Your main tasks include:

Ordering supplies;
• Supporting with administrative back-office work;
• Solving problems, including equipment malfunctions;
• Warmly welcoming and serving our customers, making their experience extra special with a friendly chat.

Where you will work
You will work in the corporate restaurant of Meta. The location is visited daily by Meta staff. The working hours for the corporate restaurant are 07:00 - 15:00 from Monday to Friday. It is a cozy and close-knit team where you will work with 4 other colleagues. The location is easily accessible by bike and public transport.

Wat je krijgt

We offer you a challenging and varied job in an energetic organization.
Additionally, you get:

• A gross hourly wage of €13.27-€14.03 according to the catering collective agreement (Part B);
• A 7-month contract for 30 - 38 hours per week with the prospect of a permanent position;
• Travel allowance from 11 km up to a maximum of 40 km;
• 25 vacation days based on full-time employment and 8% holiday allowance;

• A good pension plan and the possibility to participate in collective (health) insurance.

Wie je bent

You are an Assistent cateringmanager 1 with a passion for healthy and sustainable food and drink. You are naturally hospitable and can easily switch between different tasks.
Additionally, you have:

• Preferably 1 year of work experience in the hospitality or catering industry;
• Preferably knowledge of HACCP guidelines;
• Proficiency in the English language.
