Our client is an international and global company and they have recently established the Dutch entity. They are now in the process of starting the operations and this brings you an exciting challenge - We are looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join the team to ensure the proper execution of supply chain and logistics operations.
In this role, you’d be a key member of the administrative division, working alongside colleagues to manage production, inventory coordination, processes, and execution from sourcing to sales. You will report directly to the Supply Chain Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement processes for purchasing, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and related activities
- Establish and manage expectations for sellers in collaboration with sales offices
- Manage documentation for inbound and outbound logistics
- Monitor and maintain daily stock levels, production schedules, orders, shipping timelines, and logistics routes
- Oversee and analyze regular inventory levels, deciding on storage quantities and timing for usage or additional deliveries
- Ensure the production line meets high-quality performance standards and targets
- Organize and verify transportation and logistics routes at the Plant and with third-party suppliers, combining shipments when feasible
- Analyze shipping, logistics, and delivery data to prevent bottlenecks and other issues
- Safeguard quality, production, and order execution by proactively identifying challenges and creating solutions with internal and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Supply Chain position or in a similar field
- Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Accounting, or related field (HBO, HEAO, or MEAO)
- Excellent Knowledge of supply chain processes & import / export documentation
- Based in the area of Rotterdam
- Proactive, attention to detail & analytical thinking, proficient in English, and skilled in MS Office and ERP/accounting systems
Way of working
The company policy is to work 3 days from office and 2 days from home. It is a start-up environment and we would love to have somebody who can come in more often when needed. The company is located outside of city center, so we are looking for candidates who live in Rotterdam or Schiedam. If you have a car to commute, we can also consider candidates who are based in Den Haag/Delft area too.
