As a Software Engineer Process Automation, you optimize event-driven business processes in airport operations with smart business rules and intelligent solutions
You collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data analysts, and designers, to ensure successful product development and delivery, connecting the Netherlands with the rest of the world
As a Software Engineer Process Automation you will further develop technology in one of the essential integration platforms that play a crucial role in achieving the ambition of the Autonomous Airport.Implementing business rules with the USoft development platform
Developing backend microservices and simple web portals with USoft
Building and maintaining test cases with an automated test suite
Assisting the team in continuously improving the way of working

Information Technology (IT) is becoming increasingly important for Schiphol, driven by the ambition to be a leading digital airport that ensures a seamless passenger journey and smooth operational processes. We provide a 24/7 service, and within our team, we work in a DevOps manner.

Also, you are the talent who analyses and double-checks your work (and if necessary that of others) in detail. A completed IT-related education and several years of Software engineering experience (development);
Experience in designing data models;
Experience with application integration (API, ActiveMQ, Kafka, data lake, etc.);
Experience with object-oriented languages (preferably JAVA and C#);
Experience with cloud services and CICD (preferably Azure DevOps and OpenShift);
Willingness to learn about USoft development suite (main development tool for our team – a low code platform for developers)
