Job Title: SAP Archiving Consultant
Amsterdam, Netherlands (Hybrid)
Contract: Freelance (Intitial 6 Months + Extensions)

I am looking for an SAP Archiving Consultant with strong expertise in ILM, Data Archiving, and ABAP for HANA. You’ll play a key role in leading document migration initiatives, implementing GDPR compliant data lifecycle processes, and delivering scalable archiving solutions within an S4HANA transformation environment.

Lead end to end SAP ILM and Data Archiving implementations, including OpenText Data Archiving, standard/custom archiving objects and Print List management.
Design and execute document migration strategies from legacy SAP Content Servers to platforms.
Implement and configure ArchiveLink document types and ensure seamless integration across S4HANA and related SAP systems.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to validate document linkage integrity, ensuring audit readiness and business continuity.
Produce technical documentation, user training and provide ongoing support for new archiving frameworks.
Analyse SAP table growth, identify archiving opportunities and optimise database performance using DVM reports.
Experience in SAP ILM, Data Archiving, and ABAP development for HANA.
Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, data retention, and GDPR-aligned data deletion.
