About the job

In this role you are responsible foraccurately and timely planning and allocating contracted volumes, ensuring the lowest cost possible without compromising quality. To achieve this, you communicate with Lead Buyers and OpCo’s regarding allocated and to-be-contracted volumes. Next to that, you:

  • Work closely with the category managers to build the purchasing and allocation plan
  • Act as an interface between category, operational procurement, and suppliers
  • Collaborate with other planners to prepare quarterly and monthly planning based on OpCo forecasts
  • Reallocate contract volumes during the contract period and align with stakeholders
  • Ensure all relevant data is received and correctly administered in relevant systems for consistent planning performance
  • Monitor contract usage and propose optimal usage toward customers and suppliers, defining, developing, implementing, and monitoring KPIs to improve departmental, customer, and supplier performance

What we ask

Ideally, you have knowledge of and experience with relevant categories and possess strong analytical skills combined with a strategic mindset. You can analyse data, identify trends, and make strategic decisions to optimize procurement processes. Also, you have excellent communication skills to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and collaboration. And, you have:

  • At least a bachelor's degree, preferably a master’s degree
  • Over 5 years of experience in global procurement and supply chain management
  • Fluent in English, both verbal and written
