You can be part of our team The role As the Proposal Engineer Electrical and Automation within the Proposals team at Damen Naval, you will be pivotal in developing customer requirements into precise requirements during precontract activities. Working within the technical team of a tender, you will execute (sub) design tasks under the guidance of the Tender Manager and Manager Electrical & Automation. Key accountabilities As the Proposal Engineer Electrical and Automation, your key responsibilities will include:
Coordinate design and reporting activities to ensure progress and quality.
Perform requirement analysis, concept development, and evaluation of design options.
Skills & experience To excel as the Proposal Engineer Electrical and Automation, you should possess the following qualifications and qualities:
~ Bachelor or Master degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics or mechanical engineering
~3+ years of experience in designing electrical and automation solutions, preferably acquired in the shipbuilding, offshore or maritime sector.
~ Good command of the English language both written and verbal.
~ Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required and candidates with NL/EU (work) visa or with both an EU and non-EU nationality and/or passport are not eligible in accordance with the requirements imposed by the military nature of our projects.
