Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Cost Engineer to work on major projects in our Natural Resources sector.
In this role you will develop project cost control structures to track and control actual costs. You will establish and set the project control budget, whereby you are responsible for tracking and controlling project accruals and commitments against set budget constraints.
In addition, you are responsible for providing accurate and timely cost performance reporting. You will track the project contingency and report its position against the remaining risk on the project.
Qualifications- Minimum of 5 years Cost Engineering experience, ideally in a consultancy environment
- Excellent command of written and spoken English, with excellent report and bid writing skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Tenacity and drive to inject value and create solutions
- Good knowledge and experience gained within Oil & Gas, Renewables and/or Chemical sectors
- Membership of a recognised professional body desirable
- Major capital project experience would be an advantage
