ICCS Engineer - The Hague

Contract Duration: 12 Months (Initially via Agency, transitioning to Direct Employment)

Language Requirement: Dutch Speaking

Our client is seeking a candidate with extensive knowledge of ICCS equipment, including PLCs, Schneider Electric Foxboro DCS, TRICONEX safety PLCs, and SCADA (Wonderware). The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong inclination towards instrumentation and electrical systems and provide support across various departments. The client is a predominantly offshore oil and gas company, but they are open to both onshore and offshore backgrounds.

Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure the optimal performance of ICCS equipment, encompassing Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Schneider Electric Foxboro DCS, TRICONEX safety PLCs, and SCADA (Wonderware).
  2. Draft advisory reports.
  3. Facilitate work preparation activities such as purchase requisitions, contractor communications, financial documentation, software adjustments for projects, and loop diagram updates.
  4. Provide daily operational support, including ICCS software assistance in the control room.
  5. Enhance data integrity within the PI data system, update the ICCS database, adopt the latest technologies, and maintain current software versions.
  6. Evaluate engineering design packages and coordinate between onshore and offshore teams.
Requirements:

HBO degree in Electrical Engineering, with 1-3 years of professional experience. Strong interest in instrumentation and electrical systems is preferred.
