De afdeling:

De afdeling Property & Risk Control speelt binnen Aon Risk Solutions een belangrijke rol in het bieden van oplossingen voor materiële schade en de daaruit voortvloeiende bedrijfsschade voor ondernemingen. De afdeling bestaat uit 30 professionals en is voornamelijk gevestigd in Rotterdam. Er heerst een professionele, ondernemende en informele sfeer, gericht op samenwerken en delen van kennis.

De verantwoordelijkheden:

Als interim Managing Director Property & Risk Control (MD) ben je verantwoordelijk voor de inkoop en kwaliteit van het Property product in brede zin alsmede de technische innovatie en productontwikkeling. Daarnaast stuur je het team Risk Control aan dat gespecialiseerd is in het inventariseren van risico’s en adviseren van relaties om deze risico’s te beperken.

Je stuurt de afdeling Property & Risk Control aan en rapporteert aan de Chief Broking Officer (CBO). De MD Property & Risk Control werkt nauw samen met de MD’s van de andere productgroepen. Als MD ben je medeverantwoordelijk voor de groei van Aon in zijn totaliteit en de uitvoering van de geformuleerde broking strategie.

De functie:

In deze interim functie geef je leiding en coaching aan een team van gemotiveerde professionals. Je stuurt daarnaast, op procesniveau, de samenwerking tussen de productgroep enerzijds en de klanten, het account management, de schadeafdeling, de regiokantoren en het internationale Aon netwerk anderzijds aan. Je onderhoudt verder op management niveau het relatienetwerk met alle grote verzekeraars in binnen- en buitenland met wie de Property professionals zaken doen.

Op basis van input van controlling stel je analyses en interpretaties op van de business. Je geeft verder sturing aan het business- en budget-planningsproces voor de productgroep. Tenslotte heb je een belangrijke verantwoordelijkheid in het ondersteunen van de CBO bij de verdere groei en professionalisering van broking.


De profielvereisten kandidaat:

  • Afgeronde opleiding op HBO/ WO-niveau, bij voorkeur (Bedrijfs)economie of Bedrijfskunde;
  • Relevante werkervaring in de financiële dienstverlening;
  • In staat om grote lijnen uit te zetten, beslissingen te nemen en veranderingen te bewerkstelligen;
  • Sterk analyserend vermogen en organisatiebewustzijn;
  • Commercieel en daadkrachtig;
  • Ondernemend, initiatiefrijk en resultaatgericht;
  • Innovatief en implementatiekracht;
  • Sterke overtuigingskracht en in staat vertrouwen van anderen te winnen;
  • Uitstekende kennis van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal (woord en geschrift) en affiniteit met zaken doen in een internationale omgeving;
  • Uitstekende communicatieve en sociale vaardigheden.
