Perfetti van Melle in Breda is looking for enthusiastic operators for the department where Mentos is prepared. As a Mentos operator, you play a crucial role in the daily production. Thanks to you, millions of people worldwide enjoy this well-known candy. At Perfetti van Melle, we are aware of this responsibility. Do you think you fit in with this global player? Your tasks include:


  • Ensuring that your part of the preparation process runs smoothly;
  • Assisting fellow operators at the machines to ensure not only your process runs smoothly, but the entire department;
  • Independently resolving minor malfunctions or reporting them to the technical department (TD);
  • Carrying out replacement work;
  • Identifying, reporting, and proposing improvements for deviations in the production process.

  • A competitive salary starting at €3300 gross per month, with the potential to increase to €3800 based on your knowledge and experience;

  • Ideally, you have a technical education in the field of process industry, such as VAPRO A or B. Don't have a relevant diploma, but super motivated? We still welcome your application;
  • Experience as an operator or in a similar role, for example within the food industry;
  • You are available full-time and comfortable working in a 3-shift system;
  • Critically assessing process improvements is second nature to you.

At Perfetti Van Melle, we strive daily to create new candies and improve the old ones. These candies and chewing gums are available in many countries, more than 150 to be precise. In the Netherlands and Belgium, Perfetti Van Melle ensures that you can always find Mentos, Fruitttella, Klene, Look-O-Look, Chupa Chups, Smint, and Frisk on the shelves.


Several colleagues from Start People are already working at Perfetti Van Melle and describe the work atmosphere as excellent.
