The Institute of Medical Biometry and Bioinformatics is looking to recruit a

IT system administrator / system administrator (m/f/d),
full-time and permanent

The Institute of Medical Biometry and Bioinformatics conducts research and teaching on algorithms and software tools for genome research (marschall-lab.github.io/). We address the challenges posed by the latest sequencing technologies and the large amounts of data they generate. We apply the developed software in local projects as well as international consortia to study human genetic diversity and the impact of genetic variants on health and disease. We use and develop open source software and use Linux on most devices.

  • Independent operation and maintenance of the institute's IT equipment

  • Fluent communication in German and English
