Junior Mechanical engineer Smart Infrastructure

Functieomschrijving We are looking for engineers who have worked for at least 2 years and are ready for the next step in their career. Within our team the focus is on the realization of prefabricated modular substations for the international data center industry. We are a fast growing department with a diverse team consisting of engineers with backgrounds from all over the world. As a junior/intermediate mechanical engineer you will work with a lead engineer on the technical design, factory testing and commissioning. The emphasis is on hardware engineering, mechanical design & integration. You have a general knowledge of 2D & 3D software (Inventor is preferrable), structural analysis, mechanically welded steel structures, the construction procedures and mechanical standards. Additional knowledge in electrical aspects of LV, MV & transformers is advantageous. In your current job you are used to working in high demanding projects and now you are ready to pursue a career in modular substation. Your day to day tasks will be: o Engineering work in the office/home such as: Designing electrical distribution systems and coordinating interfaces with your team members. o Checking technical designs and specifications. o Picking up technical issues (investigate & advise on layouts, mechanical components, mechanical structure analysis, mechanical and electrical integration, etc); o Preparing 3D and 2D general arrangements of the modular substations for client reviews. o (FAT/FWT) Attend and support test work on site and in our factories. o Plan and oversee the progress of factory operations and resolve technical remaining issues; o Collaborate with an experienced team of lead, mechanical and electrical engineers. Functie-eisen o Completed Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent; (2 years of experience)- o Flexible working attitude, practical and results-oriented;- o Communicative, committed, stress resistant and able to act within a dynamic environment;- o Willing to do short work on location at home and abroad (15% on location);- o Knowledge of the English (Verbal and written) and Dutch language (Beneficial) - In possession of EU passport;- o Driving license is mandatory, o Working week of 40 hours;- In consultation 50% working from home is possible. Arbeidsvoorwaarden Primary employment conditions A gross monthly salary of up to €4000 A 13th month payment, pro-rated periodically 8.33% holiday allowance calculated on 12 monthly salaries Secondary employment conditions Pension Plus scheme (build-up from day 1) 5% ADV allowance Net €750,- to set up your home workplace 25 vacation days per year based on 40 hours Travel allowance Internet allowance Home office allowance You will be seconded for one year via Yacht, with the possibility of being considered for a permanent position at Siemens after this year
