Task and responsibilities

  • Create / develop / traffic content and deploy in various internal channels – i.e. Engage, email, newsletters and intranet at different frequencies (daily, monthly / weekly).

  • Support in creation of leadership messages for the Executive Board, including quarterly financial results.

  • Collaborate with Global Employee Communications team, focusing on employee engagement, promotion and socialization of internal communications programs and initiatives

  • Maintain integrated enterprise-wide content calendar and content workflow on company news, and based on themes and topics important to the company, and in close collaboration with various (senior) stakeholders.

  • Work with design team on pictures / imagery / video / podcasts, create briefings as needed.

  • Submit ROI statistics for evaluation report; share recommendations to improve.

Requirements

  • Excellent writer: ability to write for different target audiences on a variety of topics.

  • A bachelors degree (master’s degree would be a plus) in (digital) communications, journalism, marketing, multimedia, IT, or equivalent.

  • 7+ years’ experience in internal communications and employee engagement in international / matrixed organization and are able to work with multiple stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written (American) English, native English, being able to speak and write in Dutch is a plus.

  • Able to work on simultaneous writing assignments and under pressure, keeping an eye on the timelines.

  • Proofread and edit a variety of written and visual content before going to production. Must be able to edit and improve grammar, content structure, and overall quality. Deliver work as per Wolters Kluwer style guide.

  • Handles confidential enterprise, divisional and business unit information.

  • Experience in working with tools like Microsoft Viva, PoliteMail, SharePoint, Connect.

  • Required to work from Wolters Kluwer - Alphen a/d Rijn office 1 day every 2 weeks
