Hogrefe is an international media company specializing in the field of psychological diagnostics. Our E-Assessment department develops the Hogrefe Test System (HTS), a web platform for comprehensive online psychological assessments. Our e-assessment tech team consists of over 50 people: Software Engineers, Psychologists, Support, Software Testers, UX/UI Designers and Product Managers who develop, learn and progress together. We are looking for a Java Lead Software Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team as soon as possible. We are hiring a Java Lead Software Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team and work on our operational platform. Our software is life-changing by helping people find the right careers and positions through aptitude diagnostics, identifying learning difficulties in students at an early stage and supporting people with mental illness on their road to recovery.
With your expertise and innovative approach, we want to modernize our system and ensure that it remains at the forefront of the industry. Your task will be to develop a future-oriented vision for our software. Your ideas will be integrated into a strategic roadmap that the team will implement under your guidance. Therefore, you will lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive strategy to transition our existing software to modern technologies. Your role will involve making technical decisions to prepare our leading psychological testing software for the next ten years.
You will be actively involved in the software development process and set high standards for the team through your work. As a technical expert (m/f/d), you will support the team in implementing best practices and ensuring code quality.
Your hands-on approach will not only drive the technical implementation, but also foster creativity and collaboration within the team so that our software evolves dynamically to meet the growing needs of our users and industry standards. In addition, you will support the Software Engineering Manager in the training of employees and the strategic direction of the team within our department.
After several years of successful development, our Hogrefe Test System has become the market leader and serves numerous customers worldwide. We are looking for a Java Lead Software Engineer (m/f/d) to make the HTS fit for the future. In this position, you will be the driving force behind the technical direction, design the software architecture and implement the necessary measures together with your development team.
