De Head of Finance is verantwoordelijk voor alle processen op het gebied van finance. De grootste uitdaging van de functie is business control bij Energyhouse op te zetten. Je werkt in deze rol aan verbetering van de financiële rapportage, zorgt voor uitbreiding van interne controle, werkt aan het opzetten van forecasting en budgettering en het bevordert de groei van de onderneming. Je stuurt het finance team aan dat momenteel bestaat uit een werkstudent die de betalingen verzorgt en een senior boekhoudkundige. In deze functie zal je het team verder ontwikkelen en bouwen. De Head of Finance rapporteert aan de COO Rogier Spape.

Als Head of Finance monitor je de processen voor de facturatie en betalingen en waar mogelijk zorg je voor aanscherping. Je krijgt de ruimte om meer inzicht in de business en KPI’s te verkrijgen en te helpen de business beter te kunnen sturen. De energieprijzen en daaraan gerelateerd de omzet van Energyhouse bewegen sterk de laatste tijd. Dit maakt het ingewikkeld om een goede forecast te maken van omzet en te sturen op de cashflow. Het doel is strakker te sturen en periodiek dashboards en inzichten aan het management te presenteren. De regelgeving waaraan Energyhouse moet voldoen neemt toe. Je zorgt dat je op de hoogte bent van de regelgeving, verzorgt dat Energyhouse compliant is en signaleert mogelijke risico’s. Het datateam is bezig een datawarehouse te ontwikkelen, door met dit team samen te werken kan je de beschikbare data ook gebruiken voor financiële inzichten.

De belangrijkste doelen voor de Head of Finance in het eerste jaar zijn:

  • Verzorgen van een vlot en clean proces voor de maandafsluiting
  • Finance dashboard met belangrijkste managementinformatie ontwikkelen
  • Strak kunnen voorspellen van P&L en cashflow
  • Implementatie van nieuwe boekhoudsoftware
  • Vertrouwde adviseur van het management worden
  • Afgeronde Masteropleiding in financiële, economische of bedrijfskundige richting
  • Ervaring binnen de zakelijke dienstverlening is een pre
  • Gedegen kennis van financiële rapportagestandaarden en compliance regels
  • Ruime ervaring met software zoals Excel, Exact en PowerBI
  • Ervaring in business control en met opzetten van rapportages en dashboards is een sterke pre
Over de organisatie

Energyhouse is een energieleverancier voor zakelijke klanten in Nederland. De organisatie werkt volledig onafhankelijk en koopt elektriciteit en gas rechtsreeks in bij de bron. Energyhouse zit in een transitie en werkt als scale-up aan de toekomst van energievoorziening voor de zakelijke markt.

Ruim tien jaar geleden ging de ervaren ondernemer Sander Haas zich op een duurzame business richten. Hij kocht een solarpark in Duitsland en vroeg in Nederland een vergunning aan om energie te leveren. Zijn onderneming groeide onder de naam Greenfoot Energy succesvol uit tot een bedrijf met vele duizenden klanten. Ongeveer twee jaar geleden ontstond het inzicht dat een verandering van het business model voordelen voor zowel de klanten als de onderneming zouden opleveren. Sindsdien is een transformatie ingezet.

Ondanks het feit dat Energyhouse al geruime tijd bestaat, opereert het bedrijf nu volgens de principes van een scale-up. Met een nieuw, schaalbaar businessmodel wordt gewerkt aan een succesvolle toekomst voor de organisatie. De komende jaren blijft Energyhouse verder groeien en ontwikkelen door met een duidelijke focus de markt te bedienen. De missie van Eneryhouse is: Slimmer omgaan met energie. Energyhouse telt nu ongeveer 25 medewerkers, dat aantal zal komende tijd groeien. Het fraaie kantoor staat in Amsterdam IJburg. Om de groei van de organisatie mogelijk te maken is een nieuwe functie gecreëerd voor een Head of Finance.

Energyhouse wil in de markt waarin ze werken de beste zijn. Energyhouse bouwt daarvoor aan een high-performing team met gedreven mensen. De medewerkers krijgen veel vrijheid en worden beoordeeld op output. De verantwoordelijkheid ligt laag in de organisatie.
