Wat jij doet Als Digital Hardware Design Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerp-, simulatie-, implementatie en verificatie van digitale circuits in samenwerking met andere disciplines, zoals mechanica- en embedded softwareontwikkeling. Je denkt als board-designer meeover de opzet van het totale (sub-) systeem en je geeft advies op jouw specifieke aandachtsgebied binnen het project. Het doel is dat deze systeemdelen voldoen aan de betreffende subsysteem specificaties. Je hebt een belangrijke uitvoerende rol bij het detailontwerp, de realisatie en verificatie van een of meerdere subsystemen ten behoeve van high tech producten. Daarnaast bezoek je klanten voor technische besprekingen en communiceer jij over de technische voortgang aan de projectleider. Wat wij bieden Voor deze functie kom je bij Voort in dienst.   • Een afgeronde HBO- of WO-opleiding op het gebied van Elektrotechniek of Elektronica (of aanverwant);
  • Je hebt enige ervaring als Hardware Engineer in de ontwikkeling van digitale circuits binnen productontwikkeling;
  • Ervaring in het gebruik van simulatietools en meetapparatuur voor het meten van digitale schakelingen en interfaces (standaard interfaces als SPC, I2C en klantspecifiek);
  • Ervaring met digitale circuits, waarin FPGA's en CPLD's worden gebruikt;
  • Bij voorkeur ervaring met simulatietools om de signal integrity te waarborgen (optimale afsluiting van signaal-lijnen, lijn lengte optimalisatie etc.);
  • Beschikt over enige ervaring in het schrijven van een VHDL-code t.b.v. hardware-test doeleinden (pré);
  • Goede mondelinge en schriftelijke communicatietechnieken (voor technische productdocumentatie, kennisvergaring, informatieoverdracht en instructie).
