Marketing Lead

Our client, a leader in the finished meat products within the European market, is dedicated to enhancing brand visibility and market share. They are seeking a Trade Marketing Manager who will play a pivotal role in driving profitability across various retail and HoReCa channels. This role is essential for developing and executing trade marketing strategies that align with the company's objectives and resonate with target consumers and partners.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive trade marketing strategies aligned with brand objectives and sales targets
Plan and execute retail activation programs, promotions, and trade marketing campaigns to drive brand visibility, sales, and market share
Work closely with sales teams to ensure effective implementation of trade marketing initiatives at the point of sale
Develop strong relationships with key retail and HoReCa partners
Negotiate trade marketing agreements and promotional opportunities to maximize visibility and sales within each channel
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling POS materials, sales collateral, and trade marketing assets tailored to different retail channels and customer segments
Develop and manage the trade marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI and achieve business objectives
Track and analyze the performance of trade marketing initiatives, promotions, and campaigns against predefined KPIs
Provide regular reports and insights to senior management on the effectiveness of trade marketing activities and recommendations for optimization
Work closely with sales, marketing, product development, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment of trade marketing activities with overall business goals and strategies
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
Proven experience (3 years) in trade marketing or related roles within the FMCG industry
Strong understanding of retail channels, trade marketing principles, and consumer behavior
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions
Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a passion for driving business growth
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Business fluency in English
Direct contract
~Please note that this is a full-time position based at our client's office in Amstelveen. Hence, we could only consider candidates who are currently residing in the Netherlands, in possession of a valid working permit and open to commuting to the job location.
