Het wereldwijd opererende NTT DATA helpt klanten met consultancyprojecten op het snijvlak van business en IT. Innovatie, data en digital zijn belangrijke drivers, evenals een sterk begrip van businessprocessen en de klantvraag. De ervaren FMCG Director gaat een nieuwe practice opbouwen voor NTT DATA Nederland.

Het van oorsprong Japanse NTT DATA heeft zich, sinds de oprichting in 1988, ontpopt tot een wereldwijde toptienspeler in IT-consultancy met als missie: het creëren van waarde en van nieuwe paradigma’s met informatietechnologie, om zo bij te dragen aan een welvarende en harmonieuze samenleving.

Van autonome systemen verbonden door P5G en zelfparkerende auto’s tot grootschalige cloud-transformaties en hyperautomation: NTT DATA helpt klanten met innovatie en stroomlijning op allerlei vlakken, maar altijd vanuit een uitstekend begrip van de business. Consultants zijn daartoe in staat dankzij hun diepgaande kennis van de klant en klantvraag, gecombineerd met een passie voor de nieuwste technologieën.

Wereldwijd heeft het bedrijf 150.000 medewerkers en is het actief in vijftig landen. Sinds 2016 heeft NTT DATA ook een vestiging in Nederland. De negentig consultants van NTT DATA Nederland werken aan uitdagende projecten op het snijvlak van business, data en technologische innovatie. Zij doen dit in nauwe samenwerking met de kantoren in België, Frankrijk, Zwitserland, Spanje en Griekenland, die zo’n driehonderd dedicated consultants en engineers leveren om de Nederlandse markt te bedienen.

De EMEAL tak van NTT DATA (Europe, Middle East, Africa, Latin America) is actief in twaalf sectoren, waarbij in Nederland de focus ligt op internationale organisaties, de maakindustrie, telecom, banken en verzekeraars en de energiesector. De nieuwe FMCG Director richt zich op consumer goods (onderdeel van de maakindustrie) en gaat hierin zelf een praktijk opbouwen.

De FMCG Director rapporteert aan de Director Industry Nederland en wordt verantwoordelijk voor het opzetten van de lokale FMCG-practice. Hierin zijn niet alleen project scoping, planning en delivery van belang, maar ook het verkopen van projecten en het ontwikkelen van accounts. De FMCG Director neemt zowel plaats in het NL- managementteam als in een Europees FMCG managementteam.

De FMCG-sector is geen sector meer waar schaal bepalend is voor succes, maar een heterogene en dynamische markt waarin traditionele spelers worden uitgedaagd. De rol van digital is in deze sector van groot belang voor de flexibiliteit en capaciteit die FMCG-spelers nodig hebben om succesvol te zijn. De FMCG Director gaat de FMCG-specialisatie verder opbouwen in de functiegebieden Innovatie, Marketing & Sales, Conversational AI, Disruptive Technologies en Operations Optimalisatie.

De FMCG Director heeft een achtergrond in management-, business of strategieconsulting en een sterk FMCG-netwerk in Nederland. Zij/hij is uitstekend in staat de klantvraag te doorgronden vanuit sectorspecifieke kennis en ervaring, maar ook dankzij een goed ontwikkelde vaardigheid om door te vragen en te structureren. De FMCG Director krijgt niet alleen de kans om een practice op te bouwen, maar zet ook het bijbehorende team neer en werkt in de delivery samen met kleine projectteams. NTT DATA is een organisatie waar samenwerken vooropstaat.

De FMCG Director krijgt veel eigen verantwoordelijkheid in het opzetten van de specialisatie, maar kan ook steun van de andere directors hierin verwachten. Vanuit de functie van FMCG Director kan de kandidaat doorgroeien tot Executive Director of Partner.
