Organisatie- en afdelingsomschrijvingFor our client, an international service provider, we are searching for a Group Controller. The Group Controller (Dutch Speaker) will be an integral part of the client's financial operations and reporting in the Netherlands, responsible for the different brands. As a key member of the management team, the Group Controller will support the profitable growth of the organization through a commercially focused and data-driven approach, underpinned by disciplined financial management, efficient processes, and a strong control environment. In this role, you will report to the Finance Director. Speaking fluent Dutch is requiredFunctie omschrijving Team Management:
Lead and manage a finance team
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and present regular financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
Manage the monthly and annual close processes, ensuring all financial reporting deadlines are met
Risk Management and Financial Control:
Identify and mitigate financial risks
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
Serve as a trusted financial advisor to local business and Managing Directors
Understand and address their financial needs, providing guidance and support
Financial Analysis:
Analyze financial data and performance to offer valuable insights to local business and Managing Directors
Enable informed decision-making by monitoring financial performance, measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances
Manage accounts payable and treasury activities, including all aspects of cash flow and intercompany fund management
Ensure compliance with banking requirements and efficient drawdown against the group financing facility
Working as part of a highly motivated, international, committed team that enjoys working together
Regular team events and offsites
Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Strong knowledge of Dutch financial regulations and compliance requirements
Fluent in Dutch and English
