Over de vacature:

In deze functie rapporteer je aan Head of Development en werk je nauw samen met de Technical Solutions Architect. Je contacten zijn je technische collegas van zowel Southfields als Banijay, leveranciers van techniek, engineers van opdrachtgevers, producers, mediamanagers en technisch operationele freelancers zoals cameramensen of operators.

Dit zijn jouw uitdagingen:

  • Je bent verantwoordelijk voor het ontwerpen, realiseren, testen en optimaliseren van technische oplossingen en workflows.
  • Daarnaast draag je zorg voor de werking en het onderhoud van eigen hardware en voorzie je in tweedelijns technische ondersteuning van de dienstverlening binnen het bedrijf en/of aan klanten, bijvoorbeeld tijdens live uitzendingen.
  • Je denkt proactief mee om workflows te optimaliseren, versnellen, vereenvoudigen en/of te automatiseren.
  • Signaleert nieuwe producten en oplossingen, die kunnen bijdragen aan de razendsnelle ontwikkeling op het gebied van technologie. Van AR en VR tot streaming en cloud-based live producties.
  • Je werkt vanuit ons kantoor in Amsterdam en begeef je je tussen de studios, locaties en datacenters.

Wat wij vragen:

Herken jij jezelf hierin?

  • MBO of HBO opleiding in de richting van AV-technologie met voldoende kennis van IT infrastructuur.
  • Ongeveer 2 - 5 jaar relevante werkervaring op het gebied van broadcast, digitale media en IT in een vergelijkbare branche.
  • Kennis van broadcast- en beeldtechniek en kennis van digitale media uitwisseling en streaming.
  • Flexibel ten opzichte van werktijden, je bent bereid in de avond of in het weekend te werken.
  • Je bent een echte teamplayer, maar kan ook zelfstandig goed werken.
  • Leergierig en deelt kennis met directe collegas.
  • Stressbestendig met een pragmatische instelling.
  • Beheersing van zowel de Nederlandse als de Engelse taal.

Met 180 medewerkers in Amsterdam, Eindhoven en Hilversum zijn wij een toonaangevende Nederlandse contentproducent, volledig gespecialiseerd in sportproducties.

Southfields is onder meer bekend van de productie en registraties van alle wedstrijden en programmas in het Nederlandse betaalde voetbal, zowel de mannen als de vrouwen. Ook het internationale voetbal, Champions League, Europa League en de Conference League, wordt door ons geproduceerd voor Talpa en Ziggo Sport. Ook zijn we trots op alle programmering rondom de Eredivisie voor ESPN, de programmas die we maken rond de MotoGP en Formule1 voor Ziggo Sport en diverse talkshows voor verschillende zenders.

Southfields is vaak host broadcaster van grote sportevenementen in Europa. Wij hebben een meer dan goede relatie hebben met alle toonaangevende sportbonden in Nederland en zijn we daardoor vaak actief in de handbal-, basketbal, hockey- en volleybalsport.

Naast de reguliere sportwedstrijden en programmas heeft Southfields ook een toonaangevende documentaire afdeling onder de naam Southfields Stories.
