For a large, stable organization operating in a socially relevant domain, we are looking for a Functional Application Manager to strengthen the internal IT landscape. The role sits close to the business and focuses on keeping core applications reliable, understandable, and usable for daily operations. What this role is about (plain explanation) Think of the applications as tools people use every day to do their work. This role is about making sure those tools work as intended. When users have questions, changes are needed, or something breaks, you translate the business need into clear instructions for IT and external suppliers. You are the bridge between users and technology. Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for business users regarding functional questions and incidents Analyze user needs and translate them into functional requirements Coordinate changes, improvements, and releases with IT teams and vendors Monitor application performance, data quality, and continuity Document processes, configurations, and functional designs Support testing and acceptance of new functionality What the organization is looking for Level of Dutch: fluent or native +3 years of Experience in a functional beheer / application management role Strong understanding of business processes and how IT supports them Comfortable working with ERP or business-critical systems Able to communicate clearly with both non-technical users and IT specialists Structured way of working; documentation matters Experience in complex, multi-stakeholder environments is a plus What’s offered Gross monthly salary up to €5,500 (40h) Hybrid working setup Long-term role within a stable organization Direct impact on day-to-day operations and service quality Professional IT environment with clear processes and responsibilities Interested, but prefer to keep things discreet?
