About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Supervisor to oversee the electrical installation and commissioning of a high-profile Data Centre project . The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing electrical teams, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and delivering high-quality installations on schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electrical installation teams on-site.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and health & safety regulations.
• Oversee cable routing, containment, power distribution, and commissioning activities.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and quality assurance on electrical systems.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow.
• Manage resources, tools, and materials to maintain efficiency and productivity.
• Identify and resolve electrical issues and technical challenges.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reports, and progress updates.
• Train and mentor junior electricians and apprentices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor in data centre or large-scale commercial/industrial projects.
• Relevant electrical qualifications (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds 2391, or equivalent).
• ECS/CSCS card (or equivalent safety certification).
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, UPS, and generator backup systems .
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Experience with permit-to-work systems and risk assessments .
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work in high-security environments with strict project deadlines.
