Job description As a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for:
  • Identifying and securing new suppliers to expand the product portfolio
  • Managing relationships with existing suppliers to ensure consistent quality and supply
  • Overseeing the key distributor account, ensuring all needs and requirements are met
  • Negotiating contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve the best outcomes for the company
  • Collaborating with the sales and logistics teams to streamline operations and improve efficiency
  • Monitoring market trends to anticipate changes and adjust procurement strategies accordingly
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in the procurement process
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders to support the account's growth and success
  • The Senior Buyer will also provide guidance and support to junior and mid-level buyers on-site. Requirements
    • Proven experience as a senior buyer or in a similar procurement role within the food industry
    • Strong negotiation and communication skills
    • Ability to manage complex supplier relationships and key accounts
    • Proficiency in market analysis and procurement strategies
    • Excellent organizational and project management skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Willingness to travel as required to meet with suppliers and stakeholders
    • Proficiency in English; additional European languages are a plus
