For our User Digital Product team in Amsterdam we are looking for a

Data Warehouse Development Intern (m/f/d)

Key Responsibilities:

  • In-depth Participation in European Data Warehouse Projects: Assist in designing and implementing efficient data warehouse solutions based on NIO's business needs, including the optimization and automation of ETL processes.
  • Advanced SQL Application: Utilize proficient SQL skills to conduct complex data queries, processing, and analysis, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness.
  • Data Analysis Support: Collaborate closely with data analysts to provide technical support for the data warehouse, facilitating deep data analysis and insights.
  • Technology Exploration & Innovation: Explore and apply the latest big data technologies and tools, such as Hadoop, Spark, etc., to continuously enhance the performance and efficiency of the data warehouse.
  • Documentation & Knowledge Sharing: Write detailed technical documentation, participate in internal knowledge sharing, and contribute to the overall technical level improvement of the team.
  • Cross-cultural Communication: Effectively communicate within an international team, foster teamwork, and ensure the smooth progress of projects.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Current undergraduate or graduate student in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analysis, or related fields.
  • Professional Skills: Proficient in SQL, capable of writing complex queries skillfully, with practical project experience being a plus.
  • Data Analysis/Product Experience: Prior internship experience in data analysis or data products is preferred.
  • Language Abilities: Fluent in English as the working language; native Chinese speaker for easy communication with the domestic team; Chinese nationality is preferred to facilitate team culture integration.
  • Internship Time & Location: Available to intern full-time in Amsterdam for at least 6 months, with the sooner start date being preferable.
  • Learning Ability & Team Spirit: Quick learner of new technologies, good teamwork spirit, and able to work efficiently in a multicultural environment.
