Technical Advisor

ppOur client is seeking a motivated Technical Advisor responsible for ensuring that fieldwork is performed safely, efficiently, and in a quality-controlled manner. The Technical Advisor will serve as the primary contact for the field crew performing installation works and will guide the customer regarding site-related technical activities. You will collaborate with the field installation team, the Lead Technical Advisor or Construction Manager, as well as the Project Manager(s) and all relevant technical support departments to achieve these goals. Additionally, the Technical Advisor can provide technical supervision on installation works performed by third parties under the client’s oversight. /pulliEnsure that jobs are executed efficiently and that the field crew has all the necessary resources to complete the project within the specified constraints (on spec, on time, on budget). /liliProactively participate in the project’s pre-planning activities from initiation to completion, including scope of work, site survey, data sheets, drawings, tools and equipment, installation manuals, TRA, ITP, method statement, installation schedule, and project handover to the client. /liliCommunicate proactively with Project Managers and technical support departments about any site-related constraints that may affect the project outcome and contribute to finding solutions to get the project back on track. /liliCoordinate communication among your team members, the customer, and subcontractors as needed. /liliEnsure that all safety policies and procedures are being followed. /liliAssist with the maintenance of company-owned equipment as needed and communicate with the department head regarding equipment issues. /liliHelp the Project Manager identify scope of work changes, on-site waiting hours, and/or claimable inefficiencies or costs. /liliAttend job walks to assist the Project Managers in assessing site conditions and developing the scope of work for customer quotations. /liliEnsure that all QA/QC policies and procedures are being adhered to. /liliAssist with the training of employees/installation workers as needed. /liliAssume site-related project duties of a working supervisor when required. /liliExpected to add value, be solution-driven, and help drive continuous improvement to enhance the value proposition. /liliExpected to meet and exceed Supervisor competencies. /liliHigh standards for safety and work practices. /liliSkills in coaching, delegating responsibilities, building trust, communication, decision-making, and planning organizing. /liliSignificant technical experience in related construction works. /liliFamiliarity with product lines and installation work. /liliCritical, problem-solving attitude with a proactive and collaborative approach focused on quality. /liliProficient in MS Office (MS Excel, Word). /liliAble to write, read, and converse effectively in both English and Dutch, with the capability to explain technical constraints and provide solutions to third parties. /liliStrong leadership skills with convincing qualities. /liliExperience with safety and quality rules and requirements in the oil and gas industry. /liliStrong planning and organizing skills. /liliCapable of working within a team with good communication skills (Dutch and English). /liliVCA VOL certification. /liliWillingness to travel internationally. /liliPrepared to work in tight spaces and at heights. /liliThe opportunity to work for a global leader in its industry and further develop your career. /liliOngoing training and certifications in the industry, including health and safety. /liliSalary indication: €2,500
