We are seeking a passionate and driven researcher to join our dynamic research team and contribute to our exciting portfolio of projects In this role, you'll have the opportunity to focus on cutting-edge research and development in genetics, statistics, and statistical modeling. Conduct research projects in breeding and genetics, with a focus on variance component estimation, statistical modeling, and the sustainability of long-term selection. This role focuses on data analysis and collaboration on both internal and external research initiatives.
Innovate and develop new methodologies to enhance our research, ultimately strengthening our breeding program and support teams
Collaborate with research colleagues and external parties in multidimensional project teams

A PhD degree (or equivalent) in genetics, statistics, bioinformatics or a related field
Strong data analytical and statistical skills and an innovative attitude
The ability to work in international and multidisciplinary research teams
Proven proficiency in English (both oral and written). Dutch (or interest in learning the language) is preferred.
