The Role

We are now looking for an International Talent Acquisition Manager to join our HR team in Utrecht, the Netherlands. In this role you will be responsible for the following:

Talent acquisition process:

  • Source exceptional talent, that match with the Company’s culture and values, for our teams in Europe, the US and Latin America through LinkedIn, other platforms, and/or various hiring channels including job portals, social media, professional networks, and employee referrals
  • Standardize the interview process where possible to ensure alignment, clarity on roles and responsibilities throughout the interview processes and involve the right stakeholders at the right moment
  • Lead and manage end-to-end recruitment process ensuring a positive ‘future employee’ journey and strong connection with GAR even before joining the company
  • Maintain candidate and requisition data accurately in line with GDPR standards and following other labor law developments to stay compliant in the field of recruitment
  • Measure and report on the various activities including spending, agency usage, recruitment campaigns and various recruitment metrics
  • Develop KPI’s on recruitment processes (e.g. lead times) and deliver actionable insights on for example remuneration and benefits to align on further developments with the other HR specialists in the team
  • Source, consult and negotiate with recruitment agencies when necessary to meet needs for fixed or interim solutions while at the same time limit reliance on agencies by improving direct sourcing from online platforms and other avenues
  • Develop position specific recruitment plans, identify candidate pools and create attractive and exciting job descriptions to engage candidates to join GAR.

(Future) Employee Journey:

  • Collaborate with the other members of the HR team on the candidate journey, focusing on evaluation of internal talents, support of talent transitions, contribute to talent strategy sessions, provide guidance and insights on job offerings, and ensure seamless candidate pre-boarding
  • Act as an ambassador and build a strong employer brand for GAR by developing positive relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive ‘’candidate experience’’ throughout the hiring process
  • Develop innovative initiatives including sourcing, networking, hosting sessions, events set-up, attend open days and partnering with relevant Universities and colleges to target young talent before graduating to promote GAR as a future employer in the field of commodities.

Recruitment strategy:

  • Collaborate with hiring leaders to understand recruitment needs and business objectives, to develop effective recruitment strategies, providing proactive and timely communication on the status of the search, valuable insights and market intelligence
  • Proactively promote career opportunities to GAR’s internal employee population to meet our internal mobility goals. Manage and administer employee referral systems, online job postings, and other internal processes
  • Initiate Talent Acquisition projects, e.g. employer branding activities. Identify opportunities for improvement in recruitment processes and drive initiatives to enhance performance and reduce costs
  • Responsible for attracting, hiring, and onboarding interns over a 4-6 months period. Coordinate the traineeships, working closely with Line Managers and within the HR team and build a pipeline of future talent and an active network in that segment
  • Training and coaching of involved line managers to optimize the quality of interviews, engage on the employee journey and align on their role and responsibility within the entire pre- to onboarding process.

The role will be reporting to the HR Director, based in the Netherlands.

Qualifications

  • You have at least a completed HBO education in HR, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5 to 10 years’ proven experience in similar role, with focus on Talent Acquisition in a multinational company. Experience in the commodities sector is a plus
  • Familiar with the various recruitment channels and how to devise and implement innovative recruitment strategies in this challenging labor market.
