As a Program Manager on Planet's Global Professional Services team, you'll steer complex projects to scale government adoption of the Planet Platform and data products. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to define methods and strategy for a project portfolio and contribute to business development by aiding proposal delivery for defense and intelligence clients. The role suits a process-driven candidate who thrives in a global, fast-paced environment and wants to optimize workflows for growth. You'll influence outcomes by aligning technical and mission needs with measurable success.

- Design and deliver reliable platform and data solutions with cross-functional teams
- Lead development of proposals for D&I customers by gathering inputs and articulating value
- Define project scope, objectives, and success metrics with stakeholders
- Translate business and technical requirements into actionable deliverables
- Plan and manage detailed project schedules, risks, and budgets
- Provide regular progress updates to customers and internal teams
- Design processes for operational excellence and scalability
- Monitor workflows to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements
- Manage subcontractor contracts, task tracking, and budget oversight
- Measure project performance and customer satisfaction to inform future delivery
- 6+ years of project management experience, including government/defense proposal support
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Experience contributing to technical proposals
- Experience in the Defense and Intelligence community
- Ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects in technical/product settings
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt quickly
- Continuous improvement mindset balancing day-to-day work with future improvements
