As a Security Commissioning Data Center Engineer with us, you'll be a pivotal force in bringing advanced security systems to life. Working hand-in-hand with our Data Center (DC) Operations team—both on-site during critical project phases and remotely—you'll test, commission, and perfect the systems that safeguard the digital world. Be the Architect of Security Success
Master the Setup: Leverage your technical prowess to install and configure sophisticated network and security systems, ensuring every detail aligns for a flawless launch.
Coordinate seamlessly with project managers, engineers, and contractors, adhering to client standards while keeping projects on track. You'll document every step—observations, tests, and checklists—with precision that inspires confidence.
Solve and Innovate: Tackle unique system challenges head-on, delivering creative, actionable solutions that redefine what's possible.
Team Up: Partner with project crews and client IT teams to bring scope requirements to life, bridging technical gaps with ease.
Support the Squad: Be the go-to troubleshooter for colleagues, diagnosing IT and networking hiccups with a cool head and sharp skills.
Consult with design and sales teams, offering technical insights that shape winning bids and groundbreaking plans.
From programming and graphics to certification testing and client training, you'll handle key technical elements across multiple projects.
Mitigate Risks: Spot potential pitfalls early, rally stakeholders, and craft strategies to keep timelines tight and budgets intact.
Scout the latest tools and practices to boost efficiency, then share your discoveries to level up the team.
Raise the Bar: Work with Project Managers to enhance quality and client satisfaction at every turn.
Craft polished submittal booklets packed with schematics and specs.
Technical Wizardry: Deep expertise in testing, designing, and operating security systems—especially in the data center realm.
Experience: At least 2 years in data center security systems, with hands-on mastery of platforms like C-CURE, Lenel, Honeywell, S2, Genetec, Axis, or Milestone.
High school diploma (or equivalent) paired with formal training in network design, installation, and maintenance—or equivalent real-world experience that proves your mettle.
Leadership that rallies teams and adapts to whatever the business throws your way.
A sharp commercial sense that keeps you ahead of the curve.
On the Move: Expect frequent EU travel—local and international—with occasional overnight stays.
Physical Grit: Lift up to 25 pounds regularly (and 100 occasionally), don PPE like hard hats and steel-toed boots, and stay sharp in environments with electrical risks.
