Head of IT

In this role you lead IT for the Precision Diagnosis BU, shaping the end-to-end strategy, delivery, and operations across clinical imaging and AI-enabled services. You align IT with BU objectives, drive digital transformation in a regulated health tech environment, and oversee Run and Improve initiatives, including SAP S/4, Salesforce, and Workday. You champion AI and data capabilities, partnering with enterprise centers to scale value through data products and AI-enabled workflows.

• Own and execute the IT strategy for Precision Diagnosis aligned with BU objectives and the Group IT model
• Drive adoption of enterprise platforms within the BU while balancing standardisation and BU requirements
• Govern the BU IT portfolio (Run and Improve) with disciplined delivery and value realization
• Lead SAP S/4 transformation design, data migration, and change management for the BU
• Oversee BU IT budgets under a consumption-based model with transparent cost attribution
• Manage vendor and partner relationships specific to the BU (clinical IT vendors, imaging platforms, SI)
• Prioritize and accelerate AI use cases with the AI & Data Factory, focusing on GenAI-enabled workflows
• Champion data governance and AI-ready data estates using enterprise data mesh architecture
• Organise a BU-centric AI team and govern data products, quality, lineage, and stewardship
• Enable the BU's AI & Data agenda through governance, guardrails, and responsible-AI practices
• Collaborate with enterprise AI & Data teams to align BU needs with enterprise capabilities
• Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and care for people and patients
• Ensure regulatory compliance (FDA, MDR) and cybersecurity within Precision Diagnosis
• Build and develop a high-performing IT team transitioning toward product management and AI operations
• Establish measurable success through BU-aligned KPIs and value realization

• Senior IT leadership experience (CIO/VP IT or equivalent) in global health tech or medical devices
• Strong track record with enterprise platforms (SAP, Salesforce) and large-scale ERP transformations
• Deep understanding of AI/ML in healthcare, regulatory requirements, and clinical AI validation
• Ability to translate business and clinical priorities into technology roadmaps
• Experience managing IT budgets in consumption-based or chargeback models
• Exceptional stakeholder management across BU leadership, central IT, and Data & AI communities
• Leadership style aligned with accountability, transparency, and care for people
• Proven AI & Data champion experience-identifying and monetising AI use cases, building AI teams
• Experience in regulated environments and data governance, data mesh concepts
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT-related fields; MBA or advanced degree a plus
