The Shared Fresh Centre (SFC) for a well-known supermarket brand of GXO Nieuwegein is currently looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join our passionate, tight-knit team dedicated to raising the bar of quality and innovation. At GXO Nieuwegein we believe in the power of collaboration, so you'll work alongside a group of enthusiastic professionals who share a common goal: to continuously push the boundaries of logistical and warehousing excellence. Together, we tackle challenges head-on, brainstorm creative solutions, and drive projects forward with purpose and discipline.
If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to a team that is always looking for the next step to elevate the quality of an already significantly fine-tuned operation, then this is the place for you. Planning the weekly workload, establishing priorities to achieve the set goals
Provide training and assessments to their teams. Ensure compliance with the rates and set up any corrective actions that may be required
Analyse and coordinate procedures between areas and departments
Ability to represent GXO Logistics towards our customer on their demands and opportunities to support their business
Focus on continuous improvement techniques, quality / ISO management processes, productivity improvement and cost control within the operations
MTO lunches to connect with colleagues regardless of function title, and location visits to the Living Facilities owned by our Agency partners to engage directly with colleagues from each organizational layer.
At least three years of experience in a warehouse role managing (a team of) employees
Proficiency with warehouse procedures and policies
Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
Ability to deliver effective feedback, both written and verbal in English or Dutch
A highly motivated team on site with ambitions to grow and improve every single day
