More information on Venlo PDC can be found on the link: Venlo | Arrow Electronics What You will be doing In the role of Logistic Engineer your main task will be analyzing, improving and implementation of new solutions to improve the warehouse processes. Processes can be improved with changing the process on the floor, changing the WMS system or adding technology to the process like robotics. With as target to increase the performance, reducing the costs and improving the quality. You will have contact with all required departments within logistics (operations, IT, transportation, export, compliance, finance, etc.) You will be part of the Logistic Engineering team with colleagues who are very passionate, pro-active, hardworking but also appreciate good team atmosphere with humor. As part of this team you will take part in the engineering projects. Within these projects you will review the process, describe changes and finally implement them as a project manager. You will report to the Logistic Engineering Manager and will be part in the further development of improving the department activities. We are looking for a "hands-on" and energetic engineer who likes challenges with an innovative attitude. Next to that you like to work in a highly automated environment. You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Logistics or Industrial Engineering with 3-5 years related job experience; You see, standardizing and creation of new processes as a challenge; You have great communication skills and are comfortable in presenting your solutions. Next to that you are also a good listener to understand the customer requirements; You would like to work in an highly automated logistics environment; Highly communicative in Dutch and English, German is plus; High level skills MS office tools; Plus: Experience with process optimization within a commercial logistics environment.
