Job Overview: The Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for analyzing business needs, gathering requirements, and facilitating the implementation of effective solutions. The BA will work closely with stakeholders, including project managers, developers, and business leaders, to ensure that project objectives align with organizational goals and deliver value.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Elicit, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
• Identify and prioritize business needs and problems.
• Conduct data analysis to derive insights and inform decision-making.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
• Process Improvement: Analyze current business processes and systems to identify areas for improvement.
• Propose optimized workflows and solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to implement process changes.
• Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between the business and technical teams.
• Facilitate communication between stakeholders, ensuring clear and timely updates.
• Provide guidance and support to stakeholders on business requirements and process changes.
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation for stakeholders.
• Maintain detailed records of requirements, changes, and decisions made throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. Technical Skills: Strong experience with Splunk architecture, configuration, and administration.
2. Proficiency in Search Processing Language (SPL) for creating searches, reports, and dashboards.
3. Knowledge of Splunk forwarders, indexers, and deployment server setup.
4. Experience with data integration, including REST APIs, syslog, and file-based inputs.
5. Familiarity with Linux/Unix/Windows operating systems for managing Splunk environments.
6. Experience with monitoring and troubleshooting Splunk performance issues.
7. Experience:

3+ years of experience in Splunk deployment, configuration, and support.

1. Experience with Splunk apps and add-ons (e.g., Splunk for Security, Splunk ITSI).
2. Experience in log management, machine data analytics, and monitoring in enterprise environments.
3. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
4. Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams.
5. Ability to understand client requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Splunk Core Certified Power User or higher.
8. Splunk Certified Admin is a plus.
