We are Light Tree Ventures, a company specializing in Research, Development, and Manufacturing of LED Light Therapy products for beauty and health. We have offices in the Netherlands, China, the USA, and India, with our headquarters in The Hague.

We develop custom light therapy devices that are being sold online and offline (in Sephora e.g.). In order to achieve this, we follow a creative and fast process for realizing the next-generation product. LTV also owns several brands for which we develop our own innovative light therapy products.

Our Dutch team is looking for an industrial designer who has an interest in designing products for the beauty and wellness market. We are searching for a team player with unlimited creativity and interest in working for multiple clients. As a product designer, you will work individually on projects but will also be supported and support other designers, engineers, regulatory experts and stakeholders.

You have knowledge of and experience with CAD software, Rhino, Solid Works, Inventor, and Adobe Creative Cloud; Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop.
You have experience with creating awesome looking designs and manufacturable products, keeping medical requirements and usability in mind.
You like to have direct contact with our clients, can listen to their desires and you are able to translate this into product and design requirements.
You can make clear and good-looking product presentations that explain products and concepts to the team and customers.

As an Industrial Designer at LTV, you will be responsible for product and graphic design projects within the company. In this role, you are responsible for inventing, designing, and adjusting products focused on the beauty and wellness market that contain light therapy as the primary technology.

Gather input that is required to make a design that fits the brand, idea and wishes of the customer and client
Determine design requirements
Create the aesthetic design of products, taking into account the intended use and functionality of the device
Create 3D models
Design packaging and manuals
Transferring the design to the engineering and production team
Join risk management activities (FMEA analysis).
Quality Management System for Medical Devices)

You are allowed to work in the Netherlands
Minimum bachelor's degree in a product design-related study
Proven experience in creating 3D models for consumer products.
Good control of the English language in writing and speaking
Like to work in a young and hard-working team
Creative mindset, willing to try new ideas
