Role & Job Purpose Responsible for leading SAP application support across Batavia Biosciences and Batavia Biomanufacturing, ensuring system stability, user satisfaction, and continuous improvement. The role includes managing incidents, changes, and smaller SAP-related projects, while ensuring compliance with GxP and other regulatory standards. Areas of responsibility The Senior SAP Application Support Engineer/Manager ensures the smooth operation and optimization of SAP systems used across Batavia Biosciences and Batavia Biomanufacturing. This includes managing support teams, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners, and driving improvements in SAP usage and performance. • Incident Management: Lead the resolution of SAP-related incidents, ensuring timely and effective troubleshooting and root cause analysis. • Change Management: Oversee SAP change requests, including assessment, documentation, testing, and deployment. • Project Delivery: Manage smaller SAP-related projects, such as module enhancements, integrations, or reporting improvements, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget. • Application Support: Supervise day-to-day SAP support operations and ensure service levels are met. • Team Leadership: Guide and mentor SAP support analysts, fostering a high-performance culture and continuous learning. • System Optimization: Identify opportunities for improving SAP processes and configurations to better support business needs. • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for SAP-related issues and enhancements, maintaining strong relationships with business users and external partners. • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all support activities comply with internal policies, GxP guidelines, and industry standards, maintaining accurate documentation. Professional Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Extensive experience in SAP application support and team leadership Proven track record in managing incidents, changes, and small-scale SAP projects Strong understanding of SAP 4 Hana in a file sciences organisation Experience in biotech or pharmaceutical industry preferred Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills Knowledge of GxP and general compliance standards is a plus Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. xfgnyzt ITIL certification or similar is a plus.
